Live YOUR life; love YOUR life. Share YOUR life. Social media can make living and loving the life you have easy or difficult. Post after post highlights the best photo and moment lived. These images and words create an awareness of the importance of living in the moment, and at the same time, they can make us feel inadequate and insecure.
Use social media as it is intended. Think twice before posting photos of yourself. Turn your circle outward. Who are your friends, what message do you follow? With whom did the message originate? LIVE your life. Posts should flow from the life you love to live. Love who YOU are and the life YOU live. If you find yourself reacting predominantly negatively, put social media away for a while. Be intentional in building face-to-face relationships.
Share your life. How did you become you today? What makes you smile? Be a positive influence on those around you. Make others smile. There is only one you, be genuine and allow others in your circle to get to know the real you.
